African-Caribbean Academic Success and Social Mobility
04 May 2017
This study investigates academic success and social mobility among people of British and Dutch Black Caribbean heritage living in the metropole who have overcome structural / socio-economic challenges to achieve educational and career success. I am interested in the lived experiences of Black Caribbean heritage citizens in the ‘mother country’ and the impact of such experiences on their educational and career achievements, their sense of identity, belonging and citizenship.
